I went to Vegas last month for the first time in a decade and it’s just a different vibe. More older people than younger people. Many of the major casinos replaced their theming and designs with stale soulless generic shit. Everything is expensive, everting outside smells like weed, there are more homeless. GENx fag here. Was in LV last week for some smaller WSOP tournaments. Came in 2nd on one of them. We mostly go cuz the wife and kids like the pool. I like the nicer restaurants. It used to be as long as you were gambling, you'd get free drinks as long as you were in the casino. It was in the casino's best interest to keep you loaded and betting more recklessly. If you lost a couple thousand dollars, they'd at least comp your suite for the night and give you a voucher for a steak dinner.
Now, they'll charge you $18.50 for a Heineken while you play $100 a hand blackjack. Once your out of money, it's "fuck off, deadbeat". It at least used to be fun to lose a lot of money. They kept that part, but the "fun" was just an unnecessary cost on a spreadsheet, so it went away.

Gave my boomer parents an mgm card and they gambled enough to where I would get free room offers nonstop. Even then, the "resort fees" and parking fees basically erased any deal and made it just a normal priced stay as opposed to a crazy one. There is some cool stuff to see/do in Vegas like area 15 but the amount of ghetto niggers running around is truly unbelievable. The water is swirling around the toilet bowl right now. If you go to Fremont street, you may as well go to Hell.
