Why does stories about Hobbits radicalize so many young men?
>>509802280 (OP)I always thought orcs were cool and misunderstood
They know what menus are so they can’t be total savages
It's pretty much a story about race realism. LotR that is.
I get Tolkien, but CS Lewis? Wtf?
>>509802280 (OP)LOTR is crypto christcucktism and judaism
some retarded chuds are even seeing it as a rewritten version of The Bible
>>509802321Lol
What is it about first posts that ramp up the quality
>>509802280 (OP)Kikes are waging a cultural war against whites, they want to destroy anything created by white people, lotr, little mermaid, snow white, etc.
>>509802378I dunno I’m a liberal atheist and think Absolution of Man and Mere Christianity are amazing books
Cs Lewis is a tolerable Christian because he actually is one
>>509802590I would recommend The Great Divorce and the Space Trilogy from C.S. Lewis as well
You can find decent audiobook version on youtube iirc
The fire crackled low in the hearth of Bag End, casting long shadows upon the richly laden dinner table. Bilbo had just finished carving the roast when Gandalf, who had hitherto been silent and brooding over his pipe, slammed his goblet down with a thunderous clang.
"Orcs!" he barked, startling poor Bilbo so violently he nearly dropped the gravy boat. "Yes, Orcs! Don't look at me like that, Baggins. It’s all their doing, every blasted calamity from the fall of Númenor to the price of pipeweed!"
Bilbo blinked, mouth half open. “Er… the price of pipeweed, Gandalf?”
"Aye!" the wizard roared, now on his feet and waving his staff dangerously close to the chandelier. "They’ve wormed their way in, see? Behind the banks, the parchment-presses, the merchant guilds—pulling strings, shifting gold, whispering filth into the ears of kings! And everyone says, ‘Oh, it’s just goblins in the hills!’ Fools! That’s just what they want you to think!"
“I thought the goblins lived in the hills,” Bilbo mumbled, glancing toward the door, unsure if he should fetch more wine—or less.
Gandalf leaned over the table, eyes wild. “They publish the news, Bilbo. Do you read The Westfarthing Weekly? LIES! All printed in Gundabad, mark my words!”
There was an awkward silence as the roast steamed politely between them. Bilbo hesitated, then quietly took the wine jug and poured Gandalf another cup.
“Perhaps you’ve had a trying day?” he offered gently.
Gandalf slumped back in his chair, muttering something about Elrond being too trusting and Saruman being in on it.
>read LotR when I was 7
>I fucking hate niggers
idk maybe they're right (and that's a good thing)
>>509802734Loves the great divorce
Never read space trilogy though, need to get back into some Lewis now
>>509802378Why would Jews hate a story of God empowering goy children to understand themselves and fight back against evil?
>>509802454Uninfluenced by other replies. The first post is typically an anon's most authentic response to the OP
>>509802822I wasn't expecting chatjippity to be so cooperative
>>509803614lol, yeah. my prompt was
>>under 2000 character write a fake passage from lord of the rings in the style of tolkien where gandalf goes off on an unhinged rant at the dinner table blaming all the problems of the middle earth on orcs saying they secretly control the worlds banking and newspapers. bilbo is confused and doesnt understand but thinks gandalf might be drunkand it cheerfully obliged, presumably oblivious to the anti-semitic undertones
predictive history explained it best when he explained the ring trilogy in his episode on german history. the ring represents the trappings of the material world and (((materialism))) when the reality is in rejecting this ring that binds us and to cast it into the fire and reject the lust for power,, aka embrace Jesus. The last part is implied
Stories about beauty and truth provoke such reactions to those living in a world of ugliness and lies.
>>509802321Kek I never thought about that, bit apparently it's not in the book
