Because they're mentally ill, and made it so that it's socially unacceptable to criticize them in any sort of way through equating words to violence (by saying that "you're killing trans people" if you say anything negative to them). Although, they say that their violence towards others isn't violence at all. With these two conditions in place, this means they can kill you for criticizing them and get away with it. All of this is in their heads, though, but they don't want to (and never will) admit it. This also makes their stance appealing to 14 year old girls who want to feel righteous by standing up for a cause, which means they have any army to groom that will fight tooth and nail at anybody who dares to mock or criticize this "protected group." Frankly, we would all be better off if they just never existed.

With all this in mind, though, it's important to remember that we, as normal people, fucking hate their cause and want it gone. They try to make us think we're the minority, but we are not. We have the power to destroy them. I think we should do that.
