>>509887822It’s not so much a matter of like or dislike. I watch clips of his show, he gives great analysis on many issues. Sometimes I agree with 100% of what he’s saying, sometimes I almost entirely disagree. Sometimes he’s the funniest person ever, sometimes I can’t stand his attitude. I am all for balanced discussion about his opinions or him as a person, but it drives me up the wall to see so many people intentionally misinterpreting what he says. If people are going to attack him because they disagree with him about something, then so be it, but they should be attacking his actual positions, not creating a strawman to beat up and declare easy victory. I probably wouldn’t have even responded to this thread if it wasn’t for the claim that he was wrong about deportations.
He isn’t wrong about that. Trump is a traitor in that regard. No wall, now granted I never thought Mexico would pay for it, but a 30-foot steel reinforced concrete wall was absolutely feasible. No wall, just an incomplete tall fence that an idiot could get through. No mass deportations. He is only prioritizing violent criminals, deportation numbers are abysmal, and he has just promised to bend the knee to farm and hotel conglomerates who demanded he give amnesty to their legion of Guatemalan housekeeping staff and fruit-pickers. He got his BBB passed which fives 150 billion fir deportations with mandated minimum deportation number of 1 million annually, so that’s good, but it’s the bare minimum when we have 30 million here. As of right now his deportation numbers may end up equal to Obama’s
The only thing I can give him credit for is preventing new crossings, stopping the bleeding, so to speak. But that’s just the very beginning. Amnesty is nothing less l than a betrayal, and completely indefensible
