That's actually a strange thing I found about the ukraine war. Like they started the draft age from 30 or something and then kept lowering it.
And plenty of 40+ people in the frontlines.
I find it extremely strange because historically its always been 18 year olds who fight, if anything its usually done the other way you'd raise the draft age starting from youngest.

Simply because when you're young you feel more invicible you're more stupidly brave which is a good thing for soldier
And you are also in your physical prime.
