this is why science is bullshit
if you are a watchmaker and make a watch whose minute arm is made from magnetizable metal and then put that watch on top of a rotating electromagnet plate which speed you can adjust and which does not have magnetic field when its turned of, you can show that contraption to a scientist, show how watch operates normally at first for 5 minutes, then you turn on the magnet and now minute arm starts spinning onthe same direction as always but with double speed
