Military is easy bros. You nerds think joining the military means holding a rifle in a miserable ditch somewhere. The reality is 85% of the modern military is in non-combat support roles far from any actual combat. Even in WWII there were 4-5 support troops for every combat troop but you don't see this in movies really. My job as an E-6 entails sitting behind a desk in an air conditioned stateside office and earning 100k+ (in addition to base pay we get BAH, BAS, job-specific proficiency pay, etc.) after taxes plus benefits. 8 years ago I was a /pol/ NEET reading threads like this one.
