Is sovereignty something you just have, or is it something you have to defend with force? Because I'm thinking that if you say you're sovereign but the state says you are not, then the side with the greatest force determines who is right for all practical purposes. And if someone wants to disagree with that for whatever reason, then again we would have to inspect the differential amount of force that can be brought to determine the right.
