>>509923336 (OP)For people to have kids, they need space to have them. They need to have finances that are at least able to sustain them.
People who have kids are in the 25-35 age range.
This group of people cannot afford a house (2.5~3K a month mortgage). Many of them can't even afford rent (2K starting).
Before even being able to afford a house, there are simply no jobs that permit having kids. Kids are a 20 year long commitment. You'd need to feel like your job will be reliable for this amount of time, give you wage increases that match inflation. Give you possibilities for advancement so that as your family grows and age, you can keep supporting them.
But most employers these days fire you before you get a permanent position. None ever offer any advancement. Few even match inflation with wage increases.
Boomers have created a society in which having children is neigh-impossible and then wonder why no one has children, and instead of solving the issue they import infinity third worlders, making everything worse. Jews.
Now sure, you can argue that people have kids in worse conditions, did before. But humans don't like having their standards of living go down too much. They're fine with not improving them, with slight changes. But no westerner will happily start having a family without a house to raise them in, a job to provide for them with. Those are the baselines, and they aren't available to a large segment of the population. It's just that simple.
