Imagine what would have happened if Biden had won the 2020 election and then, just a couple months later, revealed that Donald Trump was on the Esptein list and pressed charges. The figurehead of the Republican party, the center of a cult of personality, and the man currently contesting the election's results and vowing to run again in 4 years. It would have been nearly impossible to avoid such an accusation being framed as an extremely partisan political attack, *even if it was true and they could prove it*. The collateral damage of forcing the republican party to back Trump against the allegations would have torn america apart.
