No form of government can compete with a monarchy. A monarchy can fix problems must faster than a republic.

If you notice, our republic's protections to rein in Government, are now being used to prevent removal of corruption and to slow change.

Constitutional Convention.

More than 34 states have called for one (under the idea that once called there is no reversal allowed and a convention, in all cases is never limited). Article V is clear, 2/3 needed to call and 3/4 must agree to change things. It's a high barrier.

I believe this is the path to be taken. Of course, Congress will never do it w.o an Act of GOD.

Monarchs were terrible. My home city was the 'wrong' religion and the rival city 12 miles away got given all the royal charters and grants to develop despite being much less productive.
