The enlightenment idea about all races being equal under God was adopted by the catholic church and so they redefined the body of Christ to include everyone. That heresy was never supported by the scriptures, but they went ahead with it anyways because of a misguided effort to be perceived as moral according to modern sensibilities. Protestantism was a reaction to that heresy. The Protestants protested by not providing the flesh and blood sacrament, not providing outsiders a passport into their kingdom, the kingdom of heaven. But centuries later, even the Protestants had fallen to the same heresy. So you get Nazis, which are essentially a Christian revival movement, reasserting that the body of Christ is and always was only those who it was originally meant to apply to. And that is where the jews come in vehemently opposed to such an idea, because such a revival undermines their so far successful attempts to destroy the identity of God's people.
