Poland got coastal areas alongside heavily industrialised and resource rich area of Silesia for potato fields.

They lost more total land mass and suffered a ton of deportations/killings by the Soviets to get essentially shoved West, but as >>509944455 says, the land they gained was way more valuable than the land lost. They're still the most prosperous regions today.
