if you want people to save, start paying interest on deposits again. it's actually retarded to save money when it decreases by 25% in value each year and you earn 0% on it.

In order for savings to matter it would require the ability to invest in assets.
Where's the path for that to occur?
We've all been priced out of the american dream, it's over.

whether or not you have a stake in the future is not something afforded to you by others but rather it is a choice. A man who has said he has no stake in the future has forsaken all hope and wisdom. and really no one can honestly no one can truly say they have zero impact on the future, giving up on everything worthwhile will have just as much impact on what the future holds as striving to bring about and nurture everything worthwhile. The boomers did nothing to nurture what is worthwhile and instead welcomed in the conditions that would threaten it. The giveup artists of muh current generation are just as bad.

Saving money is dumb. They devalue the currency about 8% every year.
You have to get your wealth off this downwards escalator. It almost doesn't matter what you invest in.

That's why you structure your assets, including a portion of straight cash. At a point, it becomes inefficient to have it all stuffed in a savings account beyond emergency and some funsies liquidity. Ultimately you take your foot off the gas and move into things like bonds as you approach old age. If you're young, make time work for you.

I'm burning my cash, not in bullshit but a nice place to live that should retain some value, high value or useful items and guns and ammo. We are in advanced weimar republic. Back then people sold everything because it made a lot of cash, soon after cash was worthless.

boomers hope the zoomies will pour money into the markets to keep their stocks afloat. the only reason it always goes up is because 401ks and IRAs are tied to the markets. there is legitimately no other way to make any real money.

Minimum wage should be $45/hr based on inflation or $100/hr priced on gold.

All the excess value we aren't getting goes to Jewish "charities" and Israel.

This. Investing is something you do after you have enough income to cover living and enough savings to handle an emergency. Trying to "save" by putting money into investments which bring risk is dangerous and people are rightly hesitant to do that. This is especially true since stock market crashes coincide with mass layoffs so if you are depending on getting money from investments in an emergency you get hit extra hard. Expecting "everyone" to invest is an idea that exists only because cheap or free online brokerage platforms accessible by smartphone exist. You have to have enough liquidity to carry you through crises, otherwise most investing will just get you liquidated during the next crash. People simply need higher pay.
