I've been floating the idea of a Rejection Fee of $1000. If someone applies for a job and the company doesn't hire them -- they owe them $1000. Period. It's for wasting their time and energy giving all their information and answering all their questions for nothing. If companies want to hire people but waste everyone's time in the process, they're going to pay for it...

And it encourages them not to make ghost jobs, because then they'll end up paying millions in rejection fees. Put up the listing, find someone fast, hire them. If not they will be bleeding money.
