#1 Epstein was an intelligence asset. The origin of his wealth is inexplicable because he and his sex trafficking ring were propped up by people more powerful than himself in the first place, thus he was expendable. There are probably other people with his same role that we don’t know about.

#2 Epstein was the fall-guy in a way that Ghislaine isn’t, there was too much public scrutiny of the Epstein “suicide” that makes suiciding Ghislaine along with him less viable, and Ghislaine is probably smart enough to cooperate with, and not implicate her benefactors.
