America would find out pretty quickly that war doesn't work like it did in WW2 anymore if it got in a non police action. Which it sucks at as well.
You can't compare Iraq to Ukraine.
First off America did not care in the slightest how many civilians it killed (over a million, hence years of insurgency afterwards) and we targeted civilian infrastructure on day one, power plants, roads, etc.
Also Iraq had quite literally no way of shooting down our missiles or planes like Ukraine has for Russia.
Russia on the other hand waited a long time to target any infrastructure and usually only as a response to something Ukraine did.
They've only killed a few thousand civilians and have been very careful.
The advancement of drones has made tanks obsolete.

When they engaged in a military conflict, it only lasted a few days of air clashes before they both went back home. If this happened in Europe, it would lead to a five-year war like the one between Russia and Ukraine.

All Asian countries have some level of conflict with each other, such as religious and border issues. This is unlike Europe and America, where everything has long been settled. Yet, there has not been any major war here; the only major conflict is the Myanmar civil war. Why? Unlike America, these countries do not have a war industry. We have more to lose than to gain from war. It's better to focus on the economy than to cripple ourselves in war.
