Forgiveness is something only the victim can provide. It is not your place to forgive someone for raping a girl who is not you, or even your own daughter. You *could* say that as a Christian, it is not your place to judge, but the reason for why this is the case, is that yourself are an unrepentant sinner. We ALL are. And moreover, in withholding judgment for Trump's sins, it is worth asking if one also does the same for others. Do you withhold your judgment from all the illegal border crossers, or is Trump somehow more deserving of lenience? Christ preaches that we forgive our transgressers because not a single one of us are perfect enough that we are not in need of forgiveness ourselves. It is not something that we are meant to grant selectively to those who we so happen to agree with on other matters.
