This, I lived in China for a while, nobody there is protesting. These pictures are all the groups of reporters. Literally BBC reporters that came in just to film themselves making up fake news. They were banned over it. It's fake as shit too because they spoke with the wrong accent and language. The arabic they spoke is with an English accent. IRK the Chinese muslims speak Uyghur, their own language, and it is related to and sounds like Turkish. Any Mandarin they speak has a Turkish like accent. The only Mandarin in the report had a Beijing "R" sound on the end of words and had a signature English accent. This is the most common for English speakers to learn since Beijing is the single largest place that Chinese come from and with the higher education, often become people who establish themselves in the west or teach Mandarin here. For it to even look legit, you'd need Pakistani looking arab Chinese mixes to have been speaking Uyghur-accented Putonghua. Which they did not, the people in the broadcast were Saudi Arabs speaking Arabic and Beijing Accented Mandarin and are in videos in the UK.
Nothing about the BBC's report looks legitimate. The races are wrong, the language is wrong, and they have no evidence. Locals are not reporting this and are online in huge numbers. Satellite images of the prison show it is the same facility that public reports and size indicate would be a 2000 person prison, which is a normal prison size. No photo of the prison has ever showed more than a few dozen prisoners.
Muslim extremists had carried out a number of sward attacks from the region and the Chinese government cracked down hard on them and their specific cults and families, most of whom were released. They wanted to stop terrorism and effectively did through strict law enforcement methods. Chinese cities are clean and safe. The Us should be taking notes.
