>service
Don't care about dating apps, just popped in to say that I hate this word now. In fact I expect that in the next 10 years high-end restaurants etc will stop using it because of the cheap, tacky and exploitative connotations that it has acquired in the past decade or so. The "service" economy, games as a "service", "microservices", "subscription "services" etc. 99% of the time I hear the term "service" today it's in relation to the cheap low-quality exploitative internet bullshit. When I hear the term "service" the mental image it conjures is no longer sharp dressed waiters, valets etc, it's enshitification and the proliferation of tacky ads, annoying popups, subscription models etc.
