Military training makes you weaker in the long term because it saddles you with chronic health issues.
If you train a lot but get saddled with health issues, you might lose muscle mass and motivation long term.

No they're not. I used to do martial arts witha police detective who worked undercover and paid for it out of his own pocket. He wanted to be able survive a fight and possibly win respect without the escalating factor fo carrying a weapon. A few cops do train martial arts or boxing but most just get weapon training and very rudimentary instruction in how to apply handcuffs.
