>>510071335Things have changed dramatically since 2015 and 2020. The zeitgeist among Europeans is very different, especially among the younger generations, but even lefty boomers are becoming hostile to immigrants or at least Islam.
>Civil war between who?Its hard to predict what exact factions, and it will depend in scope and intensity from country to country and the region within the countries.
The muslims are mainly in two camps.
The ones who are loyal to Islam and those who are loyal to the state.
Other immigrant groups that are not muslim are either loyal to friendly immigrant groups and/or the state.
Then you have many factions within Europeans themselves, and these vary wildly per country.
Some are loyal to the state like some of the muslim and immigrants are, some aren't and are only loyal to themselves. Its very hard to predict all this, since civil war is highly chaotic and can explode very quickly when it first starts.
But in France I know there are clear pro French nationalist factions who are preparing for civil war.
In my own country there probably would not be a civil war if it starts early in Europe (too few shitskins ironically enough). Instead I predict norway would do anything they can to supress the far right who they will propagate as the initiators of civil war in other countries. Total surveilance would be okay, and right wingers could be hunted down. Anyone with a brain would leave the country before then.
One thing is certain, the whole notion that everyone will just sit back and watch everything burn is total nonsense. I dont know how you gauge this, but things have noticably changed rapidly, and the speed is only increasing. Historically, civil war and the type of tension that leads to civil war did always happen slowly, many experienced it as something that happened over night after significant events.
I suspect that one hard economic downturn is all Europe needs.
