Because of the legacy of the 1% rule Americans Black and White identify anyone mixed as Black. This is obviously ridiculous and recognized as such anywhere else in the world.

This is the root of the racial issue in America it was the black people mixed with white most 50% at least who were smart and driven enough to fight back. Deep down they always hated being treated like niggers. they were denied an identity for centuries in this country. their food, culture, music and much more all was given to "black people" when most of "black culture" was created by a genuine and true mix of black and white in America.

Ironically we might still have segregation if instead of the 1% we had a 51% rule.

America was built by settlers, not immigrants. Settlers hacked down a wilderness, slayed lower-level savages, and built a thriving civilization. Settlers took huge personal risks to build something where previously there was nothing worth mentioning.
