It basically already is for most young people now. You only get 5x your income in mortgage offers and they expect you to take 20-35 yr terms. Average house price is £234k and average flat is £150k. Which means you aren't starting to earn enough unless you went to university and scored exceptionally highly or you've started a career doing something and you've made it up to manager over a 10 year period.

They already subsidised the population shortfall with mass immigration. This country is around 5-15 years to total collapse. We tried to cut corners raising children because it was expensive to raise someone for 18 years, then train them for 7 to perform the roles we need. So we skipped the 25 years and imported a ready made one from countries with poor standards and put them on training courses to get up to scratch. Effectively trading 25 years of cost in for 2 years. The problem is that the indigenous people growing up now aren't given any of the opportunities they need to thrive, their entry level roles are taken up by migrants, their services are at capacity, the healthcare system is maxed and there is little to no hope of starting a family because there isn't the resources to do so. And because there are so many people there is very high competition for all of these things. So we see a ballooning of mental health problems and subsequently a ballooning of disability benefits. In turn this reduces economic productivity per person and causes skill shortages in the indigenous.
So how do we solve this? By importing people to fill those skill shortages to increase gdp so we can pay for services. Repeat until death. Now add in that these incoming migrants usually have between 4-6 kids and you've created a fuck ton of dependents that all need schooling, that come from cultures that dont fit in and you get what you see today. Anything less than total genocide of brown skin wont fix it
