Not every peasant was poor. There were rich peasants. Medieval social classes were not based on wealth, only correlated with wealth.

It is relative, do you mean rich peasant by oeasant standards and rich noble by noble standards? If yes than the noble is far richer. Though the richests peasants were far wealthier than the poorest of the nobles. Blood and title would be the main difference.

Nobles had way more political rights while peasants had to organize into municipalities or tribes. I also imagine lots of rich commoners mixed with poor nobility to gain rights while those nobles were able to stay afloat financially.

I manage all of that on 20 weeks a year and I don't have to live with 5 other families, a bunch of livestock in winter or die of pneumonia at 25.

If you think peasants had it better you should have spent more time talking to your great grandparents.

Noblisse oblige, at least being nobles always guaranteed them a leading position. They didn't have to be common footsoldiers or lead charges personally unless it was out of their own volition. Minor nobles from the 1700-1800s or close are way more deserving of respect, those people had every noble responsability but absolutely no benefit, yet they still fought whenever called for. They weren't just protecting their property like feudal nobles.

Read Evola.
Nobility is about the content of character, morality, sense of justice and above all in Indo European culture, bravery in war.
The way you'd get a nobility title as a peasant was by distinguishing yourself in battle.
Of course, over the centuries it degenerated, nobles became decadent and then richfags with shitty character wanted power so financed and orchestrated the french revolution which is basically the globohomo bourgeoisie seizing power from the old nobility, money taking over bravery/morality. That's when everything went to shit exponentially faster.
See, your question is itself a good indication of the time, people can't even conceive anymore something other than money being the token to power.

Also on the question of land ownership, Evola explains very well why it land should be considered sacred and not purchasable with money. It has to remain tied to nobility. Peasants can get "rich" but shouldn't own their land. The land belong to the guy who fought for it and can crush the skull of the next guy trying to take it.

Castles were quite useful in warfare, and sieges.

Skyscrapers are the best way we have of shoving as much useful space onto a single small footprint as we can. it's good economically, if used correctly.

And do I even have to defend aircraft carriers?

Or was aircraft carriers the little lie you put in there to attempt to subtly introduce the idea of de-militarization to a nation you are planning to attack in the future?

Peasant could only rent Noble owned land. Noble also had responsibility to those under him and over him. Being a Noble basically meant you had a small pocket of government you were Lord of a domain unless you pissed off the king or enough of your peasants in which case you would have a revolt or the kings army would show up and raze the place. It was basically being a governor/manager with a mix of privilege and responsibility until the system degraded as all social systems/games do
