Its a way to spread narratives to audiences, especially younger ones, in a manner that can feel more organic as it comes off as their opinion and appears to be disconnected to moneyed control.
It always felt like some kind of money laundering or exaggerated metrics for some of the top earners. Same with things like Only Fans. Honestly who is watching any of this? Idk even know a single person in OPs image. Lol
In any case it would be easy to pay these people as propaganda arms through fake viewer counts, subscribers, and super chats. Also just giving them enhanced visibility in various search algorithms as well if they play ball.
I'm sure some of the earnings are organic but I'm highly suspect of the whole thing.
I know there was a company that elevated people like Mr. Beast.
People don't trust mainstream media sources as much now and so you can just repeat desired narratives through individual people with large followings.
