I'm pretty sure the many of top influencers make their way as propaganda arms to various interests whether it be corporate, intelligence, or government etc.

Its a way to spread narratives to audiences, especially younger ones, in a manner that can feel more organic as it comes off as their opinion and appears to be disconnected to moneyed control.
