Prior to Gillette making a move to market shaving as a cultural norm in the 1900s, most men did not shave. Also, no one cares about appeasing some Boomer boss who thinks a clean shave face is "professional". Boomer mentality in the work place is weird. They care too much about superficial things that don't matter like fucking ties.
