The point of travel is to get from point A to point B.
Flying used to cost $3,000 to get from SF to NYC. Today it's maybe $250 off peak.

Singapore Airlines was nice. They let me pour my own whiskey in their kitchen and their plane had a handicapped bathroom big enough for me to fuck my girlfriend in on the way to Singapore.
