Not really, mrna vaccines don't teach your immune system most of the factors it needs to recognize, which is why viruses easily work around them. The virus needs only one distinct change instead of five or so characteristics to beat an mrna vax.

They choose to update the definition of 'vaccines', and now 'safe and effective' doesn't mean anything either for a good chunk of people (funny, they used to advertise Thalidomide with that exact same phrase).
