I stayed in Minneapolis over night and walked during night with no problem. There were lot of white peoole just hanging around park, late night coffee shops full of people and teenagers smoking out on a porch. Maybe I saw good side of town but it seemed like a relatively safe and prosperous area.

I just asked a guy I know from Minneapolis it is safe and he said he’s gotten mugged 3 times so far but he calls their bluff and hasn’t gotten shot yet. Maybe crime does exist but they dont care

I lived in mpls for 15 years. The city city not suburbs. Its def downhill. Lake Street in Uptown used to be a nice place and I drove up there and its just empty buildings. Its not dead dead but in the 2010s it was one of the coolest yuppie part of the city. Since the riots its not what it used to be.

Warehouse district now is where the money moved near downtown.
