i used to study in my sleep.
Yes, it can be done... but good luck doing plumbing or any trade... that's real work.

You're braindead, it's not exhausting and it's actually super fun and useful, I used to be able to do it as a kid, I studied martial arts and practiced in my sleep. Sadly I lost the ability as I grew older also I smoke too much weed. I suppose you could practice or learn anything in your sleep and it's an incredible source of time. It's certainly less exhausting than a nightmare or some weird slop of a dream from the last game you played before going to sleep. It's incredible if you could have a device which would help you achieve lucid dreaming every night without all the weird tactics and a tonne of practice.

Lucid dreaming is amazing. It's whatever you want. I do it with nicotine patches every now and then. You can recall the craziest of memories with the sharpest of details

I'm convinced it's a journey back in time almost. Like watching a camcorder

Every time I realize I'm in a dream I excuse myself and start an autofellatio session.
Every

>working an 8 hour shift in dreams
This guy has never dreamed in time loops or in a time-stretched state. Five minute naps turn into years and all you can do is weep at the tragedy of some sort of loss you can no longer remember.

Also numerals.

The worst is when you dream that you are getting up and ready for work and then you wake up. It feels like being cheated.

The work aspect is hype. But the device is welcome if you ask me. To get this to work in the old days, you'd need to constantly check your (mechanical) watch like you're waiting for a nuke to go off or something. So when you dream you're doing it and notice the watch is fucked up somehow (running backwards, etc) you would become aware you are dreaming and could take control. A device that would do what that seems to accomplish (IDK, play a sound when you're in the right stage of sleep?) that could alert you would be super handy and require a lot less schizoid behavior.
