After that, there should be no divorcing and remarrying.
The Bible gave widows that were childless the possibility to try to have offspring with the next in line of the husband, such as the deceased man's brother etc.
Sperm can genetically affect other cells and not only the female egg during fertilization. In laboratory studies, spermatozoa have been shown to penetrate somatic mammalian cells after simple admixture in culture. Autoradiography revealed that sperm could incorporate their DNA into the nuclei of recipient cells, indicating release of DNA after entrance by sperm. Research "microchimerism" and "telegony" - even if the latter is considered (((junk-science)))
All of this is entirely ignoring any potential metaphysical aspects of sexual intercourse, for which many ancient cultures have their own deep considerations, such as the ancient Indian concept of chakras. Human beings are electrified beings, there is energy fluctuating through us with every heart-beat (this is the basis of accupuncture medicine).
So it is actually absolutely not far-fetched that when a male forces his penis into another humans orifice and busts a nut inside it, that there is some manner of "spiritual bond" and possibly even a "genetic bond" generated.
And this is why sex is not just considered a fun past-time in most religions.
