If Epstein is dead then the US government has a responsibility to declassify the files. The only meaningful exception is if the information can upset an ongoing investigation or burn a source. There's an exception if the information presents a clear and present tangible threat to national security, but that's specifically worded to not be used to hide the guilt of US officials.
