Hens cost $25-50
They will lay an egg every other day for 3-4 years
A hen will pay for itself with free eggs in six months
Buy a hen
Eat the eggs
When it stops laying, eat the hen

Food isn't expensive enough, americans are massively fat and farm workers are underpaid for the physicality and skill. It needs to double

Junk food aside, even normal food is expensive

Store brand sliced cheese (not kraft singles) were $3.50 yesterday. I used to be able to get them for $2
Smoked sausage links are always $4-5. They used to be about $2.50
Coffee prices are skyrocketing - bags of non-folders tier shit is nearing $10 for 8oz
etc

Lose the name brands. In all honesty, I shop Walmart for most of my groceries. Eggs are under $3 a dozen again. Store brand chips tend to be about $3 when the band names are about $5. The only time I go with band names is with exotic items that aren't available as a store brand. I'm even starting to roll with Amazon foods because the brick and mortar shops have an annoying tendency to stop stocking the popular items.

I remember when gas was about 30 cents a gallon. Funny thing about those eggs though. For the longest time, you stopped seeing eggs whose yolks turned green when boiled. Since they got the prices back down, that's become common again. I know it's the diet but if green yolks bring the price down, I'm ok with it.

Stop eating goyslop.

I eat frozen vegetables, canned beans, canned fish, milk, eggs, olive oil, butter, etc. Government pays me $292 per month EBT, and since I’m so frugal I always stock up on extra in case SHTF. I really could survive on around $60/mo

Umm... checking out the anime porn? Nah...I come here because I don't have to give up my anonymity. It's not guaranteed but then again, signing up so you can use a vpn didn't help the loyalists a couple months ago when you got hacked, did it?

I like to observe. It's less about who is watching me than it is about what they are willing to reveal just to doxx me. I don't even use slurs here, other than maybe the occasional example where the slur is targeted at pedophiles and not just people with bad habits. Sometimes, that's the test. The ACLU failed that test. I don't mind being a minor bad guy if it means that I'll never get ensnared in a lie.

>olive oil
>brown rice
>potatoes
>lentils
>ground beef
>vegetable
You can eat that every day (alternate potatoes and brown rice) and live like a king for less than $10 a day. I live in a major city so that's probably even cheaper wherever you live. If you want to splurge add another serving of vegetable and a fruit. You could also swap chicken for the flour (bread) and eat even better for around $20 a day

You can make your own tortilla chips by mixing corn flour and water and salt and then frying in oil (tallow, coconut, avocado are all better the onions) until crispy, removing and letting them dry on a towel.
You can make a cheese dip by mixing cheese, flour, and milk. I'd personally use greek yogurt as a dip but if you're dead set on cheese it's not hard to make either.
If you got all those ingredients it would cost more upfront but in the long term would cost way less than $6 per serving.

EBT did the same thing to the grocery business that section 8 did to the landlord business. It allowed the grocery businesses and landlords to charge more money becauze they know its guranteed that ebt payouts are x billions a year, and the landlords know that Section 8 is worth Y billions a year, so they charge more knowing they will get it from EBT or Section 8.

I've switched 90% of my shopping to warehouse club the savings are great for everyday shit like coffee, cream, paper products, meat, eggs, dairy, produce. Way cheaper. Even if just shopping for yourself. My membership pays for itself in 6 months and then I get bonus cashback after that. You have to go all in though and get the credit card too though to get the most out of it. The CC is good though, no fee, 5% back on gas anywhere, 3% on dining out, 5% back on club purchases. Wish I didn't have to play these little games but that's the society we've allowed. Also the membership keeps the worst dregs out of the store.

That's not exactly true. I'm old my parents were boomers we didn't have nice food at all when I was young, and it was fairly expensive. The whole nice food movement in general really didn't start until the 1990s, if you think there's slop now you should have seen what you could get before that. What's different is large expenses like housing, education, and medical were way less and attainable. Cars were cheaper but they sucked ass in a lot of ways, not reliable. Sweet spot for cats in general is 1996-2010 or so, just the right amount of tech. Electronics and other non necessity merchandise was expensive back then. But it was way better that way, way more important that necessities be reasonable

No it doesn't, produce is better than the regular store. What's limited is the selection they don't carry everything

Doritos aren't groceries. They are a luxury item made FROM food. But they aren't actual food.

You'll keep buying the goyslop anyway you fucking retard, lol.

Doritos are NYSE consoomer product.
Not food.
Anything on the NYSE is produced with stockholders advantage before the consoomer.

You outed yourself as a healthfag trying to sell more bullshit.
I just eat oats and do squats. I can kick a fridge door hard enough to fold it in half. What happens if they let me eat some protein??

It takes 60 seconds to fry some good chips from raw tortillas, retard. You would know if you had ever in your life fried a good batch of tortilla chips, I've put out thousands of pounds during my lifetime, thousands.
It takes 10 minutes for a decent fryer to get up to temperature.

I swear all of you are going to make me a celebrity chef when the electricity shuts off forever. I've fried chips at a fucking campfire and got a FFM threesome out of it lmao and this anon is negotiating the time it takes to make chips hahahaha holy shit I feel like superman compared to most of /pol/

Who are you paying to keep that fridge running? I've found that if I turn off all electricity, no air conditioning and lights- my fridge still pulls $50 of electricity per month. Are you like, standing out in a field with a solar-powered fridge, living the comfy life? I wish that were me...jews got me with jewvenile diabetes and I've been chained to a refrigerator my whole life. I just want to walk into the woods and never return, but if I don't come back for insulin, I will die. So I'm stuck thinking about how to keep the refrigerator running and how to make some money for that lifejuice. On top of all the other problems... I wish I was healthy and could whine like the rest of you!

Sorry but the way our society is designed you either go into debt to sustain an unsustainable lifestyle or you need to change your lifestyle or you improve your income to support your lifestyle or you lose everything or you destroy society hopefully for the better. Those are the only 5 options you have since you cant even fuck off in the woods without being harassed. You either need to live a more frugal lifestyle if prices increase or get a better job to afford it.
