By scrutinizing all their assumptions and eliminating the contradictions and false beliefs before even considering them, using a more Socratic dialectic pretty much, it would be a much slower process where "i demand an answer now!!!" won't always be possible because it's a more iterative process, but it will be immune to such extreme adversarialism, propaganda, manipulation and the idiocy we see in politics.

The problem is, the populace needs to be properly educated and have a more humble approach to everything, it needs to be somehow un-brainwashed form the current paradigm, and progress will be slower which will surely upset some actors.
