>>510220706Listen carefully: get the wilcox g24 mount with the dovetail. It isnโt perfect but itโs the best mount currently AFAIK. I basically have to do fully tilted down and moved up to my face for it to fit and I dont have a weird face. The adjustment is mostly to wear eyepro goggles underneath I believe.
A bump helmet or ballistic helmet is most ideal as a thing to wear it on, but I actually really like using my Cyre skullcap. Itโs comfy and I dont need a counterweight with my PVS14 for it to be comfortable.

The other things youโll want are a clear filter for both lenses. I believe the outside is 30mm thread but Im not home so cant check for you. Your unit SHOULD have come with a cheap push-in type filter for the viewing lens. If not, search for one. Both of these are set and forget type mods, just install them. Also the J-arm, be ready to spend some money on a good all metal one with dovetail. I dont remember the brand I have, but this one looks pretty good: https://tnvc.com/shop/noisefighters-max14-articulating-metal-j-arm-for-the-pvs-14/?srsltid=AfmBOoqtHbTTcCRf6ucfdr1jhbLJX_PV46HCUtxbs49-u5fXG_FnmbGi
Last thing, I recommend a cheapo flip-cap rifle sight cover to squeeze over the objective lens to cover it. I believe the size required is 37mm. Then, poke a hole right in the middle with a safety pin, this will let you use the device in bright areas for testing, but still protect the lens. I found this cool 3D printed one on amazon though: https://a.co/d/fP7WgEZ
buy LITHIUM AA batteries, for weight reduction and performance, and ALWAYS TAKE THE BATTERY OUT WHEN YOURE DONE, ALWAYS. 99% of nod problems can be avoided doing this.
Last thing, find a nice little box to keep your unit and spare batteries in. I use the little hardcase my Eotech came in.
Oh and for fun, take your nightvision on domestic flights at night time when you have a window seat. TSA wont fuck with you.
