Same here. Recently tried to move some video files from a PC to an IPad. Plugged the damn iPad into PC with a USB cable and it only showed some pictures and it's all read only, can't access the file system. Looked for answers online and apple tards keep saying to use iCloud. Why the fuck would I upload something to the cloud if I'm just moving a fucking file over usb. A private home isn't just your current location with your bedroom. People have multiple flats/houses, consider their family/spouses' homes 'their own' etc. Distinction between a place that's their own, and one they have no control over.

I got a new router which triggered the security thing and even though I entered my password correctly it locked my account. the only options to recover it had been set when I made the account like 20 years ago and no longer worked. customer support was useless and refused to unlock it.

A lot of companies have done stuff like this, the only way to get your account back if you don't have some secondary login set-up or have outdated information for it is to use their paid tech support, and often they still won't be able to help you.
