I do leave it at home, like 99.9999% of the time. The few times I've taken it out were for specific contact reasons, but I practically don't even use those things. I basically only ever own one in those few moments because I otherwise don't even touch them. I don't like anything about them.

You don't need to block the signal if you just leave it at home and minimize usage. Your patterns cannot be analyzed that way. If you must, I found wrapping your phone in plastic wrap, then at least three layers of aluminium foil will cut off all RF reception. The plastic wrap prevents RF transmission between metal.

I finally got a phone (smartphone) at the age of 28 last year because I had to sacrifice my landline when changing ISPs for actual usable internet. I've basically just used it so far as I did with landline, but also I use Plantnet that I got from Aurora store (fuck google). It's a FOSS meme phone but it was cheap for the quality and it kinda suits me. I was gonna put Ubuntu touch on it and duel boot with the native OS but I'm not sure i'll bother now. I hardly use the thing, I just keep it at home and use it when I need to make a call or to help identify wild plants
