Why does American culture seem to be more self-centered and individualistic than many other countries?
Everyone seems selfish, self-absorbed, dog-eat-dog, etc

Because all the major cities were ethnically replaced multiple times and every time they were the previous imports got angrier and angrier and the new imports

White people were ethnically cleansed from cities. My mom grew up in southern Manhattan in the 50s and they had to leave in the early 70s because of all the nigger and Puerto Rican violence.
