This would be like a doctor recommending to the family of a cancer patient that it would be better if the patient did not know about their cancer diagnosis. But in fact the cancer was never diagnosed properly, he is just assuming it is terminal cancer when in reality he should start treating the cancer ASAP. This is like the doctor saying “nah trust me bro it’s terminal cancer he’s gonna die anyway don’t tell him.” And then the doctor refuses to show you the document with the diagnosis. Or whatever.
