Here's how pizzagate started for the newfags. It all started in 2016 right before the elections in which Trump won for the first time. Right before the elections Julian Assange decides to drop a bunch of John Podesta's (Hillary Clinton's campaign strategist during the 2016 elections) emails. Some lurkers on 4chan and r/TheDonald decided to sift through the emails and found that some of the correspondence contained weird lingo with out of context references to cheese pizza, pasta with walnut sauce or my favorite one, "a black and white handkerchief [...] it seems semi-pizza related" or something to that affect. Some of that correspondence was sent back and forth to James Alefantis who when you googled him was the owner of Comet Ping Pong and several other restaurants that displayed logos associated with pedophiles to signal their status to other pedos as per a leaked FBI document. There was also an article back in the days listing Alefantis as one of the top 50 most influential or powerful men in Washington DC which then begged the question how a simple and humble restaurant owner could be on that list. Alefantis' Instagram accounts were full of weird photos of children being tied and taped as a "joke" and when you looked up other accounts followed by or following Alefantis there were several other accounts uploading weird shit like that and other very suspect images and texts. The rabbithole went FAAAAAR. The media and authorities pretended that it was fake, claimed it was all a conspiracy and memory holed it. Almost all of it has been scrubbbed now. There were also Anthony Podesta and James Alefantis collecting and displaying Kim Noble's artwork of raped children dissociating from their bodies.
