I was just thinking while showering about what would happen if the zombie apocalypse happens, since America has all the guns, not only the army or the police but even citizens have dozens of them. What would happen to Europe? What could we do in case of a zombie apocalypse? Would this mean that nobody would survive except North America?
Should North America give some guns away to other countries before an apocalypse happens? Or would the American politicians just say no and let us die to create a bigger america once we are not there anymore

A truly dangerous virus would be a chronic disease, with mild symptoms in the beginning, like a cold. Would take months to evolve into a Z encephalitis or death. It would spread unnoticed for months until the truly dangerous symptoms become visible. Weapons would be useful to those naturally immune, but of secondary importance to winning the immune system lottery.

I've always found the slowly growing mob of wandering - plodding zombies that never stop - to be the scariest form. Sure, screaming rage virus sprinting zombies make for good suspense thrillers. But the slow, inevitable conversion of everyone around you is just more psychologically devastating than insane all-out chaos war.
The horror of the slow zombie is the sheer number. It plays on our natural distaste of invasion by foreigners. The huge quantity that we can do nothing about. The unfamiliar dead-eyed faces.
Most of us have a few thousand rounds. Not even enough to take out a small city's worth of undead.
