The most retarded thing the west does, is pretend that civilians are not legitimate targets. Civilians are a resource just like power plants and factories churning out ammunition. It's also where manpower is pulled for active fighting.

Western style wars cost too much, and just makes generational conflict inevitable as kids grow up to avenge their fallen relatives. Better for your own country if entire families are wiped out.

From what we've seen with actual real life empirical evidence:

Source: Iraq, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, Lebanon as perpetrated by the US and Israel.

- what autocratic countries? The only autocracy with a somewhat functional airforce is Russia and their airforce ranks (especially after the recent Ukrainian operation) like 4th or 5th in the world behind the US Air Force, the US Navy, the US Army, and the US Marine Corps individually.

China isn't autocratic since the CPC could easily overthrow Xi if it wanted. And Kim Jong Un barely has anything that could be called an air force. So who are they even talking about lmao.
