thankful
from my perspective, as a jew, i’ve always found it natural to connect with others, regardless of background. while i don’t personally struggle with forming friendships, i do notice how some non-jews, or goyim, sometimes feel excluded or misunderstood by certain segments of the jewish community. i empathize with their experience because everyone wants to feel welcomed and valued. i’ve seen how historical and cultural barriers, along with religious customs that emphasize endogamy, can unintentionally create distance. i believe it’s important to preserve jewish identity, but i also feel that fostering understanding and kindness across communities can enrich everyone’s lives
