i think the burkina faso/Russia-supported sahel countries have the right idea. breaking colonial chains, investing in infrastructure and building national industries, trying to regain control over their currencies. basically throwing off the colonial leeches. BRICS or the African Union could really supercharge these efforts by helping support industry and infrastructure investment at non-predatory (or less-predatory) rates. education as a mid to long term investment.

What does "save Africa" entail exactly? If every african was eradicated and replaced with Arabs/Europeans whp created developed economically stable societies would that count as having "saved Africa"?

Frankly there were always only two options: ruling over them through colonization or leaving them alone. Latter has been made possible by attempting, and failing, at the former.

This actually dissolves the colonial boundaries that divides natural resources ethnic/tribal groups and causes endless chaos and exploitation.

There have been mutliple martyrs of the cause of African unification. Such an undertaking requires a great leader to rise.

There's no "saving" Africa, what it's got isn't worth saving. What it needs is a great consuming force, a changer, something that will chew up the waste and extract the little bit of value that's there to save for later and convert it all into something entirely different.

Honestly sad as it sounds all aid should stop and the colonisation should end. Right now aid we provide keeps Africans in parts of Africa that large human society have no right being. If a region can only sustain a thousand people than only a thousand people should live there, don't send food and water to keep ten thousand people there. Then obviously there is a history of colonisation with various western countries using Africa even to this day as a piggy bank while harshly penalizing any attempts to nationalize their resources (calling them terrorists, organising rebel groups, coups etc) obviously a nation with so much outside interference can't be stable. That's not to say it's all white people's fault, truth is Africans are not very bright (sub Saharan) evolution in such a resource rich climate stable environment made beings that never needed to plan ahead. If Africa wants to succeed than their best bet is to seek help from the north Africans to lead and control them who evolved differently to their own circumstances and have the capacity required to lead and control. But yeah it's not an easy solution basically you'll need a bunch of Africans to die and migrate first by cutting off aid to them so that the resources are more well balanced and can sustain their populations, then western nations need to completely remove themsleves from the countries that they own (which will never happen because they make billions from those places without needing to give anything back except aid) and then the Africans will need to fight until the north Africans emerge victorious and unify the continent into a smaller number of nations.

You can't save a drowning man who is determined to drown, or who is so stupid and panic stricken that they wrap themselves around you such that you both end up drowning. Japan is the way it is because it is full of Japanese people. Norway is the way it is because it's full of Norwegians. Sub-Saharan Africa is the way it is because it's full of black Africans. You can not begin to "save" Africa so long as it is full of black Africans, because you can not save people from themselves. They simply lack the intellectual and emotional capacity to be anything other than what they are.

There are only two options: all non-blacks should leave the land forever and allow them to live as they will, same as all the other wildlife there, or sterilize all the blacks there so as to allow white colonization (the Rhodesia option). Perhaps in the future technology will exist that allows us to uplift black Africans.

Africa has become completely dependant on aid, foreign economies and technology that is literally millennia beyond what any of the native peoples have ever achieved. Leave them to their own devices, let there be a die off of the population that is entirely reliant on aid. Maybe in time they would go back to the tribal cultures and ways of life that they had pre-colonialism, which would be a damn sight better than what they are now.

Either that, or it is completely recolonised and whites and maybe Asians take over all authority and administration, and we make everywhere like Rhodesia and South Africa of old. If we are going to pump money and resources into that continent, we should be in complete control of them.
