China is either already #1 , or will be #1 country by nuclear power plants.

Renewables, in fact , don't work as you can tell by EU falling off the cliff.

What China did was kinda normal given it's size. So, picrel really says more about India's underperformance than anything else. Anyone who thinks India can counterbalance China is in for a rude awakening.

China's renewables has a hundred times the output of their nuclear fleet, and is expanding a hundred times faster too. Nuclear is nice as a backup, but it's never gonna to be >50% of a country's power at this rate

All three. But solar is having some extremely fast growth in China right now. At this rate, solar in China will will larger than coal/wind/hydro/nuclear combined by 2030

Unfortunately, China's new Aircraft carrier is still running on oil and not nuclear, so it's magnetic catapults do not have enough electricity generation, nor battery reserves, for large numbers of sortie launches congruent with carrier maneuver and high engine output, without running out of juice.
There is only so much horsepower and electrical generation from coal and oil.
Nuclear can launch duel catapults, maneuver, and keep the ice cream machine going.
Plus if she is sunk or blown up, you can raise an international stink about radiation fallout destroying the environment.
