I work on a very small licensed farm near McMinville OR and I'm glad to see the big companies hit the shitter, they flooded the market. The fluctuations since 2015 have been insane. Back then you could still get a couple thousand bucks for a good pound or more and the figures shown to investors were quite real, but not sustainable once so many people got in. Hopefully the future of cannabis is smaller local farms, I think the prices could still be very good that way. If interstate legal cannabis ever opens up though all of those companies could rebound.

It costs 15-20$ to grow a pound of weed if you want it for quality. Cheap shit costs 5-10$ per lb. Once it is federally legal you will see prices for wholesalers drop like a car crash and many of these larger companies are going belly up since it grows everywhere.

In the case of farmers you can sell it as pig feed since it gets them high and has a decent amount of protein. Other animals will eat the seeds just fine.

there isn't a lot of airflow in my yard from the tall fences.
the last month before harvest was all rainy and cloudy, so I had to harvest early because every day I was cutting handfuls of bud with rot off of each plant.
