i usually get down to around 12% in the summer when I am cutting and doing more outdoor activities. I find it hard to maintain long term because:
- start to feel weak in the gym
- start to feel small
- get tired of restricting calories / eating clean 98% of the time

My body likes around 15% when I'm eating more intuitively. I usually will go to the upper teens on bulk in the winter.

desu girlfriends have usually preferred a bit fluffier 15-18% look. Saying that I looked bigger and that at more shredded BF i look too "hard" or freaky. but i dont lift for women so i will continue to shred in the summer

Muscle loss is a meme unless you're in an insane deficit or going below 10%.

10% is pretty low and the maximum you should as a non-competitor or influencer. Even 12% is great, then bulk to 18-20%. Not like anyone gets these numbers measured accurately anyway though. Cut until your abs are diced and then bulk until just before they're gone and try to time that to take 8-12 months.

I suppose this is true, but if you get too fat your test will diminish, same as being too lean as a natural lifter. yes, anon, this is called protein synthesis KEK. Protein repairs your muscles, testosterone allows you to synthesize protein. More test = more protein synthesis = faster gains and faster recovery. Keep eating lots of protein (your bodyweight is a good metric just to be sure, but I think its closer to "lean body mass weight).

You only need like 20-30 minutes of working out a day (none of that excessively long breaks shit) and proper portion control in your diet to get results. Especially if you take the supersets approach to cut down on rest time. You can absolutely get by on a mixture of only dumbells and calisthenics (especially calisthenics for fatties who are their own lifting weight) at home. Notably if you're just trying to stay or get healthy.

This. There's a reason bodybuilders drop for competitions then immediately get back up to ~10%+ bodyweight after. They know it's too dangerous to stay low for too long.

Not saying You should be a blimp. You need around 12-15% minimum from what I've read. the US Navy states Athletic body types at around 15%.
