I never cared about massie in the first place. Stay or leave, don't care. I will still say, "You lost" knowing that these 2 words make you seethe uncontrollably while Trump lives rent-free in your head for the rest of your days.

Btw,

How could you not care about him? He's like 1 of maybe 3 people who still think we should uphold the constitution and have a sensible budget. At the very least, he's shown that he stands on principals and won't just tow the party line.

The rape was of their people's children. The killing was of the children of their enemies. Not that I would expect a leftshart to understand, given that they can't breed nor conceive of having their own children and their entire concept of them is of "someone else's" to groom or brainwash.

It's easy to always get "what you want" when "what you want" is what Trump has just told you you want on Truth Social.
You don't want escalation in the middle east? Trump posts about how awesome his bombings of Iran are, and now you love escalation in the middle east.
You don't want war with Russia? Articles come out that Trump wants Ukraine to strike Moscow and now you're zigger-posting.

MAGA is, right now, eviscerating Trump over Epstein. We got him to back down over H-1Bs and got Vivek kicked out of the administration. We were also very loudly against war in Iran. Turns out Trump arranged to give them a little love tap, they hit us back with no casualties, and it was over.
What libs can't understand is that we like Trump because he is responsive to what we want, and he changes positions in the face of pressure from his base.
This is to be contrasted with just about every other politician who never tries to respond to their voters, but just make their opponent a boogeyman

I'm not in for Trump's random crusade against Massie, I think it's dumb and born purely out of a lack of ability to control him. I want to like Massie in a big way, he says a lot of the right things, but the problem is he doesn't DO anything. He claims to be the guy that for years now has been telling everyone in Congress about the debt clock, about all these major issues, but he has never sponsored a bill, never put anything to a vote, he has no legislative credits to his name. He's just a guy, and most of what he does is just show up on big votes the whole GOP agrees on and says "Yeaaaaahh....nah, I'm not feeling it." and then leaves.

Bro I want to fucking like you, but how about you have some fucking ambition or something? Just a little maybe? Stop being a spoiler and start getting on board with Trump so you can help him steer the train in a collectively good direction. But nah, you just wanna be your aloof cool-guy who votes No on everything and takes no responsibility.

>we like Trump because he is responsive to what we want
-ish.

His problem is that he only does things that "we" want when he has someone in his ear telling him it's a priority. Case in point, the fucking HPA/SHORT stuff with the BBB. It was in, then it got stripped, and ALL of the 2A world was screaming at everyone in Congress to get Thune to overrule it, get Vance to come in and do something, or get in Trump's ear about this so they could at least talk about these issues in an interview or press thing. But no one did, and so the bill passed and neither Vance nor Trump ever said a word about it because they didn't know it was a thing, and I'd put money on Trump not even knowing the 2A exists at all, much less that a for a huge swathe of his base it is literally the end-all-be-all of our republic.

So yeah. Trump can be a force for good things when someone is steering him. If you can't get an issue in his ear, you're fucked, he doesn't know or care you exist.

Thank you for explaining how your coping mechanism works
So you think that Trump is some sort of brainwash God, instead of being given the will of the American people.
>You don't want escalation in the middle east? Trump posts about how awesome his bombings of Iran are, and now you love escalation in the middle east.
Your brain is excellent at filtering information
The ceasefire between israel and iran = somehow still an escalation in your mind
>You don't want war with Russia? Articles come out that Trump wants Ukraine to strike Moscow and now you're zigger-posting.
The left was the one begging for burning russian bodies. The right believed it was not our war. The rihgt still believes this. Trump made a mistake in believing Putin is not using him, that's all.

This is where I’m at with Massie to. It really looks like he is just a noise maker that occasionally votes the complete inverse of his stated principles because he “just had to, ok?”
I would rather have someone who does some stuff I like and some stuff I don’t over someone saying things I like and then farts around most of the time.

Like, Trump's out of line but he's not wrong. Massie is just a do-nothing faggot. Which makes me wonder what his goal for his political career is? Plenty of people get by in Congress with long careers just showing up, voting the way people want, and then not saying shit. Massie wants to be vocal as fuck about literally everything, and then also not actually vote for the things that his people probably want him to.

If you want to be outspoken, you also have to be effective, otherwise you're just a loud loser.

>i just wish everyone was on board with massive spending bills because the national debt must keep going up

We're going to get spending increases no matter what. There is no way for spending to go down, it's just not physically possible. The rules prevent it, and the votes prevent it, because you have to cut something and someone who votes will always end up either being asked to vote to have their money stripped away or pass the buck on to someone else. I want our country to spend less, but I wouldn't really mind if we spent the same or more on better things like building shit and improving shit.

I'd take a $1T debt increase if all of that money could go to building a border wall and deporting illegals.

>>510514593
Yeah, it's not 5D chess. It's Trump throwing a shitfit because he thinks Epstein is a nothingburger, and/or he's being told by Israel to shut it down. There's no other possible explanation. He and his people made a bad play, fumbling and faking their way through the initial bite at the apple of releasing the documents, and now he's having them backpedal and just hoping it'll go away.

>Trump didn't escalate in the middle east
Trump ended the functioning JCPOA, negotiated in bad faith demanding zero enrichment, then assisted and encouraged Israel in attacking Iran, giving them the false idea that they're safe and allowing them to bomb scientists in their homes, then go on Truth Social and tell you all how awesome the attack was.

I think it’s a slightly tweaked version of the Bernie grift
>be the outspoken “we need to change candidate” of the party
>this change is apparently shit posting on twitter and performative bullshit in the house
>but instead of falling in line with the entire party election season he contusions to play the impudent rage party member
I also assume he is extremly comfortable with how uninvolved his district is with voting. Picrel is his last election. His district seems completely disinterested beyond ensuring it’s a Republican in the seat. So Massie can be a do nothing blow hard and not even be at risk of losing his seat.

Only other explanation I can give is he has developed a personal petty grudge against trump and has become a weird missing link between RINOs and Liberians more interested in fucking with trump then actually doing anything.

>Massie claims he will vote no on a spending bill
Ok, so maybe you can actually conference with party leadership and maybe make some tweaks or additions you actually care about?
>"No, I will not do that. I will vote no. Now scrap the whole thing and start over. I'll vote no on that too."

He doesn't want anything. If he had specific interests or demands, he'd make them known, and he'd make deals to get them into the process. But he doesn't, and so he seems to be in this fake principal stance of always holding out for bills that somehow hit the emergency reverse on everything the government is doing, which he knows can't and won't happen.

>There's no other possible explanation.
There's the obvious explanation, which is that whoever controls the Epstein list controls everyone on that list. The minute it's published, all those people get replaced with people you don't have life-destroying blackmail on. Obviously Trump wants to keep that leverage.
Also of course the public seeing proof that the Greatest Ally has been working to keep our country filled with blackmailed pedophiles for at minimum a couple decades might lead to some interesting conversations about our relationship with them. Like, did 9/11 happen because a bunch of kidfuckers are on Mossad videotape fucking kids

The only explanations I can end up with him are he is either kind of an idiot or a bullshit artist
>bills need to be 100% what I want and fix all the issues I think are important immediately
>if it isn’t that I’ll vote no on it
>no I won’t accept partial fixes and compromises
>why the democrats have proposed a spending bill?
>well I just have to vote for this. We can’t have another government shutdown can we? (Ignore the 2018 one I explicitly helped drag out and then refused to vote in favor of back pay on)

He either doesn’t know the word pragmatism, is stupid, or it is a grift that Massie will ride until he dies in office
