A coordinated communist cyberattack targeting the US FIRE sectors β€” finance, insurance, and real estate β€” would strike at the heart of our passive American wealth extraction, economic stability and global influence. These sectors form the backbone of US capital flow and wealth generation. Disrupting them would not just stall domestic transactions or damage consumer confidence. It would fracture the trust that underpins the US dollar’s dominance in global markets.

The attack would signal a strategic shift away from conventional military confrontation toward asymmetric digital warfare. Instead of missiles or troops this is power projection through precision code. The adversary exploits the US’s dependence on networked systems and centralized financial data.

Domestically such an attack would trigger chaos. Bank runs frozen credit markets real estate paralysis and insurance systems unable to process claims would destabilize the economy at every level. Internationally allies would question the reliability of American financial systems. Rivals would be emboldened to decouple further from Western institutions and pivot toward alternative economic blocs.

Geopolitically it would mark a defining moment in cyber conflict. It would likely trigger a response doctrine that places cyberattacks on par with kinetic acts of war. Retaliation could range from crippling counter-cyber operations to economic sanctions or even conventional strikes depending on attribution confidence.

In this new domain strength is measured not by how many aircraft carriers you have but by how hardened your code is how redundant your systems are and how quickly your economy can reboot under pressure. The old Cold War was about nuclear deterrence. This one is about who blinks first when the servers go dark.

So what's the alternative? I'm interested in a trade since they're pretty AI safe and you don't have to compete with women or materialistic chinks/jeets. But everything I see online is tradies bitching about low pay, how hard it is on your body, how boomers don't want to train apprentices, how you should work for a union but it's hard to get into etc. What the FUCK is the right move in 2025 for a normal dude

Not how it works, at least now. Recruiters/HR roasties just see no experience on your CV and immediately trash it.
Actual team leads sifting through candidates themselves was a thing before the scamdemic IT boom. Now every company wants to be like Google and has a gorillion interview stages that drag on for weeks at best.
The only real chance CS students have is sucking up to their professors so they can call up their private sector acquaintances and recommend them.

My parents told me I need to move out and start my life and settle down. Rent starts at 1300 bucks and I make 12 bucks an hour despite getting a degree in computer science. All the woman at the ripe old age of 21 are birth controlled, obese, single moms. When told these facts my mom said, β€œYou have to make it work like we did it was hard back then too. You need to lower your standards there is nothing wrong with plus size woman and there isn’t anything wrong with being a stepfather I know a man who’s happy raising another man’s children.” Can someone explain to me what these two retards are thinking? Also explain how to deal with a society where basic milestones are impossible to achieve.

My dad went to college and got a meme degree. He ended up getting a meme job with the degree. At my age he had three kids. He was able to buy a house and support my mom and three kids.

I got a much better degree and struggle to make anywhere near what he makes. I did the math and found out if my parents gave their house to me I still couldn't afford the upkeep, much less a mortgage, a wife, and three kids. The past four years have set me back so much I am actually making the least amount of money I ever have.

I would love to be a father and support a wife and kids with a great job. Society isn't letting me. I don't want to be blackpilled but I don't see any alternative. As I get older and the door starts to close on a family I'm starting to resign my fate and try to think of a different future.

They're not thinking. My dipshit welfare queen dad, his obese remarriage AND my alcoholic mom also told me to just "figure it out" and to "find my own way" when I brought up how utterly ruinous both the job and housing market is and will continue to be. Their brains are calcified and you have to accept that you're simply a different class of human being than them. Their betrayal isnt without consequence though- none of them will see my children nor will I attend their funerals. Boomers and GenX are scum, in the realest sense of the word.

university education wasn't really intended to be vocational for a long time. For a few decades, employers realized that it filtered dummies, but that changed over time and removed the efficacy of the filter. You could always argue that education is valuable for its own sake, but that doesn't necessarily make you more employable. When you factor monetary & opportunity cost into that consideration, then it just doesn't make sense for most people aside from the wealthy and birghtest/most inquisitive minds (like it was for a long time)
